Former Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan was appointed first vice president of Gazprombank in Russia.

Yerevan’s previous Mayor Karen Karapetyan is appointed First Vice President of Gazprombank of Russia. ArmRusGazprom Company Press Service representative Shushan Sardaryan confirmed this information.    

Gazprombank is among Russia’s three leading banks, and, with its capital, it is the third largest bank in Central and Eastern Europe.  

To note, Karapetyan’s appointment in such powerful financial establishment could not have taken place without the knowledge of the highest echelons of Russian authorities.
