Armenian President congratulates Medvedev and Putin on United Russia’s victory.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan congratulated his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on the United Russia Party’s victory in the parliamentary elections.

In his message to Medvedev, the Armenian leaders expressed confidence that results of the elections will contribute to  development of strategic partnership, expansion and deepening of friendly relations between Armenia and Russia.

Armenia appreciates Russian PM’s attitude to Armenian-Russian friendship, said the letter addressed to Vladimir Putin.

“I am confident we would strengthen Armenian-Russian strategic partnership for good of our nations, and in the interests of stability and security in the South Caucasus,” the message reads.
