Armenia’s National Assembly (NA) will hold a special session on Tuesday evening.
Newly-elect NA Speaker Samvel Nikoyan signed a decision whereby, pursuant to the Constitution and at the initiative of NA MPs, the Parliament will convene a special session on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
The special session’s agenda includes but one matter: election of NA Deputy Speaker.
To note, during its December 1 session, the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Board decided to nominate RPA MP and Press Secretary Eduard Sharmazanov as Deputy Speaker, and Gagik Melikyan will replace him as RPA Parliamentary Faction Secretary.
