The European People's Party (EPP) will hold its 20th Congress in Marseille, France on 7 and 8 December, 2011. The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan has been invited as a special guest of the EPP Congress.

EPP's EU heads of state and government Nicolas Sarkozy (France), François Fillon (France), Angela Merkel (Germany), Donald Tusk (Poland - EU Council Presidency), Traian Basescu (Romania), Emil Bog (Romania), Viktor Orban (Hungary), Fredrik Reinfeldt (Sweden), Enda Kenny (Ireland), Boyko Borisov (Bulgaria), Lawrence Gonzi (Malta), Jyrki Katainen (Finland), and Pedro Passos Coelho (Portugal) will be attending the EPP Congress.

Spain's Prime minister-elect Mariano RAJOY will also be present.

The President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso, the President of European Parliament Jerzy Buzek, and the President of the EPP Group in the European Parliament Joseph Daul will be present.

Non-EU heads of state and governement Mikheil Saakashvili (Georgia), Vlad Filat(Moldova), Nikola Gruevski (FYROM), Sali Berisha (Albania) will also be attending.
