Armenia to chair the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said on Thursday that Armenia will take the chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg on May16.

He said this during a press conference with his Lithuanian counterpart Linas Linkevičius in Yerevan.

According to him, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland will visit Armenia in the second half of March when the programme of events will be approved.
