The new appointments of RA Chief of Police.

By the order of RA Chief of Police, Vladimir Gasparyan, Head of Sevan Police Department Gagik Vardanyan was fired. The latter had been appointed just a few days before.

Instead of him was appointed Vigen Aghekyan, who before had worked in the General Police Criminal Investigation Department.

By another order the chief of police appointed Police Colonel Varuzhan Shashikyan as Head of Gyumri Police Department. Prior to this appointment, Shashikyan was Yerevan’s Erebuni Precinct’s Criminal Affairs Department Chief.
