Armenia is elected as UNESCO committee bureau`s vice chair.

The 5th Session of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions was held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, from Monday to Wednesday, during which the election for the Committee’s Bureau members was also held.
And during the Committee’s session on Wednesday, Armenia was elected the said Bureau’s vice chair, and, as such, Armenian Culture Ministry’s Foreign Relations Department analyst Artashes Arakelyan will be the Bureau’s keynote speaker in 2012.
To note, Armenia is a member in this Committee for a four-year term.
