President: Armenia interested in development of relations with Georgia

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania, Armenia Today reported on Friday with reference to press service of the Armenian President.

Serzh Sargsyan said that Armenia is interested in development of relations with Georgia, and mutual visits at different levels facilitate it.

Alasania spoke about the results of the meeting with his Armenian counterpart Seyran Ohanyan, during which they discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the defense field.

Referring to the principles and policy of Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, Alasania stressed that the development of relations of a strategic nature with Armenia is one of the priorities of Georgia.
