On March 7 RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan received the delegation led by EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Philippe Lefort.

They discussed issues related to regional security and cooperation with the EU in the field of defense. The parties welcomed the European Union's role in sustainable development in the region and enhance mutual trust.

Seyran Ohanyan and Philippe Lefort noted with satisfaction the successful cooperation between the defense ministries of the Republic of Armenia and the European Union.
