Georgian Defense Ministry denies information on death of servicemen in Afghanistan

The Georgian Defense Ministry has not confirmed the information about the dead and wounded Georgian servicemen in Afghanistan.

Information about the death of two Georgian soldiers and wounding three, spreaded by "Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan", is not true, said in the statement of Defence Ministry.

Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania urged journalists to refrain from spreading unverified information.

"I ask not to rely on information disseminated by our opponents. All Georgian troops healthy and unharmed," - Alasania said.
