According to Vardan Khachatryan the situation will be manipulative during the upcoming elections.

At his Dec. 9 meeting with journalists, the Parliament member Vardan Khachatryan voiced the opinion that the election results in Russia are the results by a full-fledged middle class there.

"Armenia's society is apathetic. So it cannot be a pivot or backbone. The result is an easily manipulated situation," Khachatryan said. 
Mkrtich Minasyan, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) member, rules out the Russian scenario in Armenia. According to him, the RPA is doing its best to dispel any doubts about election results. He is sure the party will succeed.

Khachatryan, however, has doubts. "How can the authorities be so sure if the people are living even worse than they did?" he said.
