The Armenian composing art festival, "Babajanyan Fest" continues. The festival is dedicated to the 90th birth anniversary of great Armenian composer Arno Babajanyan.
Festival’s third concert took place at Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall on December 5. The concert program features works by Hovhannes Manukyan, Edward Sadoyan, Ashot Ghazaryan, Arzas Voskanyan, Sofya Mikayelyan, Vladilen Balyan, Jenny Asatryan, and Melik Mavisakalyan. The National Chamber Choir of Armenia will perform at the concert.
Babajanyan Fest’s next concerts will be held at Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall on December 11 and at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall on December 15 and 19.
Babajanyan Fest opened on November 21. The festival includes 6 concerts.
The festival has been initiated by the Armenian Ministry of Culture, the Union of Composers and Musicians of Armenia, and the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia.
The festival is held under the high patronage of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
