PAP member Naira Zohrabyan to EPP: "God be with them..."

As LURER.com had already informed earlier, the chairman of the European People’s Party (EPP) Wilfred Martens handed Serzh Sargsyan the party badge and said that the three parties of Armenia, RPA, Rule of Law and "Heritage" Party had the possibility of becoming EPP members. 

Meanwhile, the PAP (Prosperous Armenia Party) had also submitted a membership request. It was interesting whether Martins just forgot this fact or he did not know about it. The Armenian service of Radio RFE/RL tried to find it out from the Prosperous Armenia Party. 

“I listened to Martens’ speech in French translation as much as I could, because the translation was awful. If you say he mentioned the three parties, then God be with them. PAP sees no problem here. Of course, we would like to become a member, we applied for it, but nothing will change in our activities, we will go on promoting Armenia to become a member of the European family,” said PAP member Naira Zohrabyan.
