Shirak Torosyan: "Javakhk people should enjoy both the minorities`and the native nations` rights".
Georgia
“The Armenian-Georgian relations ought to be friendly, but it should be clear that unless the problem of Djavakhq Armenians is settled, those relations are impossible,” MP Shirak Torosyan said in a meeting with the journalists. According to the official Armenian-Georgian relations must develop without any preconditions.
Referring to the forthcoming parliamentary elections, Mr. Torosyan was asked if more MPs were needed in the Parliament. Shirak Torosyan has said that the number of MPs doesn’t matter, as unselfish people are needed to raise the problem of Djavakhq.
“Djavakhq is a national, pan-Armenian problem. We witness intensified expatriation of Djavakhq, which will be a real tragedy,” said Sh. Torosyan.
