Today "Renova" company`s director Georgi Iosifyan`s letter to "Chorord Inknishkhanutyun" was published in the daily, where the RF citizen presented noteworthy information on the owner of Armenian "Jose" restaurant complex Mher Avetisyan`s and his godfather - Araratian Pontifical Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Navasard Kjoyan`s 'activities' in 2008. The letter mainly stated that in 2008 Mher Avetisyan organized a meeting between Kazakh BTA bank Director Roman Solodchenko and Navasard Kjoyan, in order that the Diocese would confirm that RA Central Bank demanded 1 million US dollars a year from the Armenian branch of BTA bank as the bank`s loyalty acceptance fee. The conversation is presented below:
- Today "Chorord Inknishkhanutyun" daily published an article about Navasard Kjoyan`s and your joint 'activities' together. I`d like to ask you several questions connected with this.
- To tell the truth it is a complete lie. I don`t want to speak about it.
- But Georgi Iosifyan tells that the news agency can use lie detector on you and it will clear up that the charges carried against you are not false. Do you agree with this proposal?
- I don`t know any Georgi Iosifyan and don`t wish to deal with useless things instead of my works.
- And aren`t you going to claim denies from the newspaper or to prove your innocence in any way?
- No, I am not.
- But they are making serious accusations, as if on behalf of President Serzh Sargsyan, you...
- I know that I have no charges.
- And aren`t you concerned about this?
- Not at all.
- And has the President authorized you to ask this amount?
- Such a case never occurred. What an amount? Perhaps they confuse this with other things. I have no connection with this.
