The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) has not discussed the possibility of splitting its votes with other political forces, says Edward Sharmazanov, the RPA spokesperson and the new deputy speaker of Armenia's National Assembly.
"I declare officially that the RPA has not discussed any issue related to its proportional representation or campaign format," he told Tert.am.
It comes after the local daily Zhoghovurd said in its Friday issue that the ruling coalition is on the verge of reaching a final agreement over its electoral roll.
Sharmazanov said the Party will unveil details on its electoral campaign at its session scheduled for February-May, 2012.
Khachik Galstyan, the spokesperson of the coalition Prosperous Armenia party (PAP) also dismissed reports on having an agreement with coalition partners.
