“We will not keep Silence”: 'TV Trash' award to Russian TV news.

“We will not keep Silence” Armenian youth NGO stresses that Russian television provides biased information and decided to give their TV Trash award to Russian TV news programms.
The organization sent its message to the news editors of Russian First Channel, Russia and NTV channels.
“When after ten years several hundred people gather in the center of your capital for the first time to express their protests against the election results and you give only official information on your channel, it means you are not professional. If military equipment is brought to the center of the capital and you give only official information it is not professional. If your colleges are beaten and arrested and you keep silence that is a scandal.
You keep important information from millions of people which might at least influence their orientation. ’We will not keep Silence’ honors you with the TV Trash award and calls you to through away all the other awards received earlier,” reads the message.
The organization expresses its regret in seeing how the Armenian television tries to duplicate their Russian colleges in everything, even in cynical bias.
