Newly-appointed head of EU delegation hands copy of his credentials to RA FM Edward Nalbandian.

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received on Dec. 9 newly-appointed head of EU delegation to Armenia Traian Hristea on the occasion of handing the copy of his credentials.

Congratulating the ambassador on the appointment, Edward Nalbandian wished him success, and expressed hope that the head of the EU delegation will promote enhancement of Armenia-EU productive cooperation.

Expressing gratitude for good wishes, Traian Hristea noted that the current high level of EU-Armenia cooperation one more time speaks about the mutual interest in development of relations and assured that he will do his best for strengthening that cooperation.

A wide range of issues on cooperation between Armenia and EU was discussed, particularly, over the start of talks on the association agreement, visa facilitation regime, and creation of deep and comprehensive free trade zone.
