The first Human Rights EXPO 2011 was held at K. Demirchyan Sport-Concert Complex on International Human Rights Day on December 10, reported the Human Rights Defender's Office.
The EXPO 2011 pavilions showcased the current issues related to children, the socially disadvantaged, women, victims of violence and torture, refugees, the disabled, ethnic minorities, as well as issues related to the right to receive information.
The Human Rights EXPO 2011 is supported by nearly 80 NGOs, as well as the United Nations Development Programme, the European Union, UNICEF, the OSCE, the United States Agency for International Development, Converse Bank, Open Society Foundation and Counterpart International's representation in Armenia.
