At his Dec 12 meeting with journalists, Chairman of the Heritage party Raffi Hovhannisyan voiced the opinion that the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) are as likely to run for Parliament on a mixed ticket as the PPA is likely to start a dialogue and the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC).

He would welcome a PPA-ANC dialogue, but it is something of fantastic nature now.

The Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) and the ANC are opposition forces, and an agreed political agenda is of importance for them, Hovhannisyan said.

If the ARF-D had nominated a candidate for Parliament speaker, the Heritage party leader would have been delighted to vote for him.
