Armenia’s government discussed seismic resistance of new buildings.

Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan chaired the regular session of the Scientific and Technical Council, which was held at the Government, during which the seismic resistance issues of new buildings were examined. 

The Council approved the proposals toward implementing seismic-resistance systems in the buildings that are being constructed, restored, and fortified in Armenia. The session participants also reflected on the matter of preparing seismic resistance specialists in the universities.      

And looking into the development of a strategic plan for agricultural automatization and machine-building in Armenia, the Council proposed that this plan, and the measures for developing the automatization and machine-building domain, be prepared and introduced to the Government.
