Armenian police arrested a relative of ex-MP Hakob Hakobyan.

As LURER.com was informed, a few hours ago Armenian police arrested a relative of ex-MP Hakob Hakobyan (nickname 'Lady Hakob').

Stepan Hakobyan, son of the ex-MP’s brother Simon, was arrested on Kievyan Bridge in Yerevan in his Lexus vehicle.

Police had Stepan Hakobyan under surveillance after he made a scandal at one of the wedding parties and recently beat a magazine assistant. 

He may also have connection to the murder of son of Vahan Zatikyan, ex-head of Malatia-Sebastia district in Yerevan. Sedrak Zatikyan, Vahan Zatikyan’s son, was murdered on June 22, 2006.
