Ruben Hayrapetyan and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were awarded with state medals of NKR.

Ruben Hayrapetyan, President of the Football Federation of Armenia, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, leading member of Armenia’s national football team and of  FC Shakhtar Donetsk, in Ukraine, were guests of the 5th Conference of the Union of War Veterans of Artsakh (Karabakh), which kicked off in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s (NKR) capital, Stepanakert.

Hayrapetyan was awarded with the 'Defender of the Homeland' Medal, while Mkhitaryan - the NKR PM’s commemorative medal.

Along the lines of his charity visit to Artsakh, Henrikh Mkhitaryan donated refrigerators, television sets, and washing machines to fifteen families from different regions of Karabakh.

Mkhitaryan noted that, after carrying out charity work past year, he clearly acknowledged that there were still many people in Artsakh who needed help, and that`s why it was decided to visit Karabakh this year, too.
