Armenian expert says NATO-Georgia cooperation brings Turkish expansion in Georgia.

“Georgia’s cooperation with Turkey isn’t a new thing. It has started in the context towards NATO,” military expert Artsrun Hovhannisyan said today in a meeting with the journalists remarking on Turkish-Georgian cooperation.

“Georgian authorities view Turkey’s military support as a means to get closer to NATO. But, obviously, Georgia appears under Turkish influence following NATO,” A. Hovhannisyan said.

According to the expert “NATO-Georgia cooperation turns into Turkey’s expansion towards Georgia.”
