Christian Democrats at Lithuanian Seimas condemn establishment of “friendship group with Nagorno Karabakh”

Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats, the second largest political party in the Seimas, held a meeting on March 19.

The embassy of Azerbaijan in Lithuania told APA that the press release issued by the fraction says that at the meeting, the establishment of friendship group with so-called “Nagorno Karabakh” was unambiguously condemned and two members of the Christian Democrats, who are also members of the group, were demanded to withdraw their signatures.

One deputy has today announced that he left the group.
