Yerevan and Venice become sister cities.

Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan visited the city hall of Venice and was present while the agreement on Venice and Yerevan becoming sister cities has been signed.

As the press service of the President informs, the agreement was signed by the Mayors of Yerevan and Venice Taron Margaryan and Giorgio Orsoni.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan thanked his college Giorgio Orsoni for his readiness for making Yerevan and Venice sister cities and for the warm reception.

Venice Mayor Giorgio Orsoni mentioned that Venice signed the agreement on becoming sister cities with Yerevan with great pleasure.
