President Serzh Sargsyan was elected as RPA`s congress delegate.

Armenia’s President, and the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Chairman, Serzh Sargsyan attended, in capital Yerevan on Friday, meeting of the Sayat Nova 2 and Metaks 1 initial organizations of RPA’s Central Regional Organization.    

The meeting’s order of the day was the election of the delegates to RPA’s 13th congress. And as a result of voting, the meeting elected Serzh Sargsyan as a congress delegate. 

The President thanked for the confidence given to him, and responded to the questions of meeting participants, Presidential Press Office informed. 

To note, RPA Press Secretary, and National Assembly Deputy Speaker, Eduard Sharmazanov had informed that RPA’s congress will be convened in early 2012.
