Non-commissioned officer who destroyed Armenian soldier’s eye was arrested.

Non-commissioned officer Armen Tovmasyan, who had struck with a chain the eye of conscript Narek Avetisyan, 18, as a result of the incident that occurred Wednesday at Yeghnikner military unit of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army, is arrested, MOD Investigation Department Public Relations Senior Officer Meri Sargsyan told. 

In her words, a forensic medical examination is commissioned, and the criminal investigation is still underway.

On Friday, Sargsyan had informed that a criminal case was launched into this incident.
