Tropical storm kills over 200 people in Philippines (Video).

CNN - Flash floods and a tropical storm have killed nearly 200 people and left scores of others missing in the southern Philippines, Associated press quotes officials as saying.

About 150 people were missing after the storm swept through the Philippines' Mindanao region from Friday night into early Saturday.

Army spokesman Colonel Leopoldo Galon said emergency workers had recovered 97 bodies, most of them children, who drowned in floods in Cagayan de Oro City. Seventy-five people drowned in Iligan City.
