President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received cross-bench member of the British House of Lords Caroline Cox, head of Global Group of International Holdings Johnny Sei-Hoe Hon and Vice President Keith Bennett.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received on Saturday cross-bench member of the British House of Lords Caroline Cox, head of Global Group of International Holdings Johnny Sei-Hoe Hon and Vice President Keith Bennett.

Chinese Global Group is a venture capital company implementing investment programs in different countries.

During the meeting Baroness Cox said that she continues assisting Armenia and would be pleased if the Chinese company makes investments in certain fields of Armenia’s economy, presidential press service informed.

President Sargsyan welcomed the initiative stressing that government authorities are ready to discuss and assist company’s investment projects.

They discussed investment opportunities in mining industry and high technologies which are considered dynamically developing fields of Armenia’s economy.

Serzh Sargsyan gave appraisal of Armenia-China high level relations, stressing that several Chinese companies are operating in the Armenian market. President said he would be happy to see the Global Group among the companies functioning in the local market.
