Yerevan City Hall hosted programming and designing contest.

Armenian capital Yerevan’s Mayor, Taron Margaryan, was on hand at the kick-off of programming and designing contest which is being held at the City Hall, under the latter’s sponsorship and at the initiative of Microsoft Company’s Armenia Innovation Center.
More than 130 young programmers, from around 35 teams, are competing at the event. The competition’s main task is to create and offer new programs and ideas for the capital’s governance domain.
Taron Margaryan assured that the best works will be used as pilot programs. The participants introduced to the Mayor prototypes for automated systems, and robots and equipments.
The programming contest will continue for 24 hours, and the creators and teams of the best works will receive awards and cash prizes, City Hall Press Service informed.
