The Guardian. Berezovsky’s friend says exiled oligarch strangled by the scarf

A friend of fugitive Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky, who was found dead at his Berkshire mansion near London on Saturday, argued that Berezovsky was strangled, Britain’s The Guardian reported on Monday.
The newspaper quoted Nikolai Glushkov, one of Boris Berezovsky’s oldest friends, as saying that “Boris was strangled.”
Glushkov, a former deputy director of Russia’s air carrier Aeroflot, said that Berezovsky’s former wife, Galina, who owns the house and had allowed him to live there, arrived while a paramedic was on the scene and has told friends that a scarf was found next to his body.
“Either he did it himself or with the help of someone. But I don't believe it was suicide,” Glushkov said, referring to Berezovsky’s death, which is still being investigated.
