Armenian delegation participated in sessions of CSTO statutory bodies in Moscow.

Armenia’s FM Edward Nalbandian, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, and National Security Council Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan attended, in Moscow on Monday, the joint plenary session of the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) Defense Ministers’ Council, Foreign Ministers’ Council, and Security Council Secretaries’ Committee.
The participants discussed and subsequently approved the agenda of Collective Security Council’s Tuesday’s session and the matters to be examined during the event.
The ministers also reflected on the implementation of the decisions, which were reached during Collective Security Council’s session convened in December 2010, and of the accordance, which was reached during CSTO leaders’ informal meeting that was held in Astana, Kazakhstan, on August 12.
During the joint session, the attendees also examined the declaration, which CSTO leaders will adopt in connection with 20th anniversary of the signing of the Collective Security Treaty and 10th anniversary of CSTO’s establishment.
The participants also discussed CSTO Secretary General’s annual report, and cooperation, organizational and financial matters, and agreed on the location and date for next session of CSTO statutory bodies.
Also, around twenty documents were signed.
And at the end of the session, CSTO Defense Ministers’ Council, Foreign Ministers’ Council, and Security Council Secretaries’ Committee Chairmanship passed from Belarus to Kazakhstan.
