Yerevan Mayor considered the proclamation of Venice and Yerevan sister-cities a great achievement.

Regarding removing advertizing posters stuck on front parts of the buildings of architectural significance, during the regular working conference in Yerevan`s City Hall, the head of External Design and Advertisement Department reported that the advertizing posters and signboards had been removed from the front parts of “Moscow” cinema and other buildings.

Consistent work is done to exclude such cases in the future. It was reported that to perform the requirements of the decision on determination the procedure of obligatory improvement of the real estate and surrounding area by the owners of the objects 3519 contracts had been signed with the entities and corresponding 4210 notifications had been sent.
Regarding income fee collections Taron Margaryan instructed to ensure high financial discipline and to carry out coordinated activities targeted at budget performance. Regarding the visit to Italy within the delegation of the RA President Serzh Sargsyan, the Mayor considered the proclamation of Venice and Yerevan sister-cities a great achievement and said that on April 23 the mayors of Rome and Venice have been invited to Yerevan to take part in the measures to be held in Yerevan on the event of being declared by the UNESCO the Capital of Book- 2012.
