Selena Gomez pulled out of two concerts after her mother reportedly suffered a miscarriage.
The 19-year-old singer had been scheduled to appear at the B96 Jingle Bash 2011 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago on Saturday and the 106.1 KISS FM's Jingle Bell Bash at the WaMu Theatre in Seattle on Sunday, but cancelled both commitments, with her spokesperson citing a "family emergency" for the cancellation.
According to E! Online, Selena pulled out of the shows after learning her mother Mandy Teefey had lost her unborn baby.
The entire Seattle concert was postponed because fellow performers OneRepublic also had to pull out because frontman Ryan Tedder was ordered to go on vocal rest by medics.
