The Armenian government has today approved drafts of the Armenian presidential decrees on the establishment of embassies in Mexico, Indonesia and Sweden.
The Armenian state budget has allocated 150.5 million drams (about $ 359,600) for 2013 to open the embassy in Mexico and 160.5 million drams (about $383,500) to open a diplomatic mission in Indonesia.
Armenian Deputy Minister of Finance Pavel Safarian said that the state budget does not include funds to open the embassy in Sweden, so 179 million drams, or about $ 427,700 will be allocated from the Reserve Fund.
He also said that 200 million drams (about $ 477,900) will be allocated from the state budget in 2014 to ensure the work of the Armenian embassy in Sweden.
