Sardarapat initiative member Garegin Chugaszyan proposed alternative front.

Member of Sardarapat initiative Garegin Chugaszyan told reporters today that a new circumstance can be pointed out in the home political life in Armenia – the embryonic state of the real civil society which will not allow the opposition to manipulate itself and the civil movement to vanish. 

According to him, Sardarapat initiative attaches importance to the creation of civil resistance centers through the following stages: formation of the initiative, its enlargement and implementation of direct democracy, that is preparation of Armenia’s sharp development. Garegin Chugaszyan added that the opposition vanished and this vacuum can be filled with alternative political units born from the national movement and not with political parties.
