President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan hosted head of the EU delegation to Armenia, Traian Hristea.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received on December 21 head of the EU delegation to Armenia, Traian Hristea.

President's press office reported that at the meeting the parties attached significance to the Armenia-EU cooperation. The Armenian President said the relations have intensified which may be testified by frequent mutual visits and active implementation of new programs. Serzh Sargsyan stressed that Armenia is resolute in continuing implementation of reforms.

Ambassador Traian Hristea noted that Armenia-EU relations are on a high level and convinced that during his tenure he will seek to maintain this level and increase the efforts in all directions for reinforcement of trust, dialogue, cooperation. He stressed that the EU is interested in deepening relations with Armenia and assisting the implementation of reforms in the country.
