Azerbaijan failed to gain military or human advantages over Armenia in 2011 a military expert has said.
David Jamalyan told reporters on Friday that Armenia managed to purchase enough military supplies in the past year to neutralize the country's advantages.
"Azerbaijan is unfortunately very likely to repeat its provocations next year. Our task is to do our utmost to reduce such attempts," he said.
The expert agreed that Armenia's army is now facing more serious problems domestically.
"We have terribly sorrowful problems inside our army. The incidents and deaths in the army are unacceptable," he added.
Jamalyan said that Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan had submitted a proposal to solve those problems after the independence parade back in September.
"A key issue is to have educated officers never resorting to violence. And last but not the least, it is extremely important to rule out impunity," he said.
