Armenian deputy speaker Edward Sharmazanov attended the funeral of former Czech president Vaclav Havel.

Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov attended on Friday the funeral of former Czech president Vaclav Havel in Prague as an official representative of Armenia.

Vaclav Havel passed away on December 18 at the age of 75 after a long illness. He was the last president of Czechoslovakia and the first of Czech Republic.

Representatives of Azerbaijan and Turkey did not attend the ceremony.
