Illegal tree-cutting in Armenia’s Stepanavan city.

During an inspection on Friday, Armenian Police Force’s Stepanavan city precinct’s officers found ashen wood in the automobile of Ashot Tsaturyan, 43.   

The driver informed the police officers that on prior evening he had illegally cut a tree from the forest.

The quantity of timber and the amount of damage are being determined.

A professional examination is commissioned, and an investigation is underway, the Police Force informed.
