Armenian Parliament celebrates coming New Year.

A festive event celebrating the coming New Year was held for the children, on Saturday, at the garden of Armenia’s National Assembly (NA).

Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, and loved fairy tale heroes and cartoon characters were on hand to make the children happy. And the main symbol of the festive environment was the fir decorated with playful toys and lights.     

The children, along with grown-ups, were also entertained by songs and dance, and afterward they released colorful balloons into the sky and made wishes.  

NA Speaker Samvel Nikoyan and MPs also attended the event. Greeting the children, Nikoyan extended his New Year wishes to them, and wished prosperity to their families.  

The children also received New Year presents personally from NA Speaker, Santa Claus, and Snow Maiden, NA Press Service informed.
