After a ten-year interval, USSR People’s Artist, renowned Armenian actor Armen Jigarkhanyan returned to stage on December 24.
Jigarkhanyan played the well-known philosopher and statesman Seneca in the premiere of “The Theater of the Times of Nero and Seneca,” which was staged at Moscow Dramatic Theater directed by Armen Jigarkhanyan himself.
Following the premiere, Jigarkhanyan was decorated with the Journalists’ Union of Russia’s badge of honor for his professional achievements, ITAR-TASS News Agency informs.
