Georgian Defense Ministry confirmes desertion of recruits

Georgian Defense Ministry confirmed the desertion of recruits from the military unit in Alto (Kakheti region, eastern Georgia). According to the Ministry of Defence, the recruits refused to carry out orders of the sergeant and left the territory of military unit.
Georgian Defense Ministry stressed that recruits have not yet signed contracts and had only a preparatory course before signing a contract.
Deserters said that sergeant humiliated them.
Deserters will not carry no responsibility, because it will be considered that they simply could not cope with preparatory course, said in Defense Ministry.
