“Unfortunately, we celebrate the New Year without our perished liberation soldiers." Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan

On December 25 at school No. 1, Ashtarak town, Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan met the relatives of 143 perished liberation soldiers. Aragatsotn Governor Sargis Sahakyan, Mayors of Talin and Ashtarak also participated in the meeting, press service of Armenian Ministry of Defense informs.

Armenian Minister of Defense applied to the relatives of perished soldiers and especially said: “Unfortunately, we celebrate the New Year without our friends. We must report about our every action to our liberation soldiers and their relatives as only due to them we have independent state and regular Army. It is symbolic to hold this meeting just at this school as it as a unique lesson of patriotism for the young generation. Person, militant with his knowledge is the most important factor for Armenian Army. Person always has been the most important factor for Armenia. Blood in Armenian veins is more valuable for thousand times than oil in some pipelines.”

Armenian Minister of Defense also visited Veterans Union of Ashtarak in frame of his visit to Aragatsotn region.
