Kuwait’s ambassador presented his credentials to Armenia’s President.

Kuwait’s newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Bassam Muhammad Alqabandi, presented Tuesday his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
Sargsyan stressed that Armenia, ever since its independence, gives a huge importance to developing relations with Arab states of the Persian Gulf. In the President’s words, founding of Armenia’s embassy in Kuwait and of Kuwait’s embassy in Armenia attest to the mutual desire to deepen relations between the two countries.
In his turn, Bassam Muhammad Alqabandi noted that, as Kuwait’s First Ambassador to Armenia, he has been commissioned by his country to exert efforts toward developing relations with Armenia.
The interlocutor’s also underscored the strengthening of interparliamentary ties, active cooperation within international organizations, and close cooperation between both countries, Presidential Press Office informed.
