Armenia’s time zone to be changed - Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan.

Professional discussions are underway to change Armenia’s time zone in two stages, said the Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan reminding that Armenia is not in the right time zone. The current time zone of Armenia does not correspond to the geographical position of the country. 

According to Tigran Davtyan, the first stage will eliminate the summer and winter time change, then Armenia will shift to another time zone that will be closer to the time zone of Russia and the European countries. The Minister says it will be convenient for people and the businesses.
