The heads of three administrative districts were awarded with the Gold medal of the Mayor of Yerevan.

Manvel Javadyan, Arthur Gevorgyan and Araik Kotanjyan, the heads of  Avan, Davtashen and Kanaker-Zeitun districts which took the first three places in the result of assessment and analysis of the work done according to spheres in 2011, were awarded with Gold medals of the Mayor of Yerevan by the decision of the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan.

Congratulating the awardees on the event, the Mayor expressed gratitude for the work done and said that from the beginning of the coming year encouragement mechanisms are to be used for best results shown by the administrative districts and their staffs within six-month term. And this approach will ensure competitive conditions for the rest ones. 

“I am confident that next year we shall have a better picture in the administrative districts and the staffs of both the municipality and the administrative districts must work more efficiently, be maximally caring and consistent in any issues related to Yerevan and its residents”, said Taron Margaryan.
