Armenia ranked 6th in Women’s World Team Chess Championship.

Armenian women's national chess team, scoring 9 team and 19, 5 individual points, has occupied the 6th place in the tournament of the Women's World Team Chess Championship in Mardin, Turkey.

In the last – 9th round, the Armenian chess players played draw with the Russian team. The following results have been registered in these games – Vietnam-Ukraine 2:2, Greece-South Africa 4:0, Georgia-Turkey 3:1, China-India 2,5:1,5.

The Chinese team has been recognized winner of the tournament, the Russian team is in the second place and Georgia's team – in the 3rd place.
