Armenian Democratic Liberal Party welcomes the ARF-D -"Heritage" joint statement.

The State Committee of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (Ramkavar) welcomes the joint statement issued by the ARF-D and "Heritage" Party in which the parties propose to eliminate the majoritarian order and make the transition to the 100% proportional electoral order in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

"The ADLP administration is pleased to see that the proposal of making the transition to 100% proportional order made by the ADLP State Committee has a large "army" of supporters, but forming a real political system that serves national interests requires that MPs shouldn't be untouchable outside of the National Assembly. Thus, we are certain that the "accompaniment" of the 100% proportional order with the partial elimination of being untouchable will lead to the development of the political system and the increase in the quality of electoral processes," as stated in the declaration.
